@MyColtsAccount I feel like the only void really is wr3 and rb3. Everything was addressed in the draft besides cb but I feel like we can literally just plug in jones, Edwards or Blackmon and be fine. Our edge guys are still very young and we drafted some more to fight it out at camp

When I quickly sketch out the Colts depth chart, I think there are obvious voids at: WR3 Starting EDGE RB3 Depth OL Depth LB Final CB Spot The last 3 may already be on the roster, but I think the first 3 need to be addressed still.

@crimsonace @Lincmusser Ponds is the perfect replacement for Kenny Moore whom they agreed to look for a trade.

But the school that literally just won the national title 40 miles south apparently had no players worth drafting, especially who were available at positions of need like CB (Ponds) or LB (Fisher).

@crimsonace Granted , I saw every IU game but I have never seen a cornerback like that ever at IU and can count on one hand players of that caliber I have ever seen in college - I get his size but worst case scenario he’s got potential to be the best Nickelback to ever play.

This is why I can’t sit here and say “Man Chris has nailed this draft!” He has completely failed to address the worst part about our defensive unit. We ether have to trade for a DE, sign some old codger, or be worse than last year (if that’s possible).

But he came into the franchise with no answer at qb already since luck retired early. We had a win now team mindset so he tried to find the best plug in options at that point and just didn’t pan out

Continuously missing at QB gets GMs fired in year 3-4. Ballard gets a free pass because fans such as yourself want to glaze his poor talent evaluation

The Colts did re-sign him, only after they knew his back was fucked… So we’re hanging our hat on an undersized LB who retired early, a RB, and a 2nd year TE? Yikes…
