This conversation has been a long time coming. I happen to have a strong visual memory, an analytical mindset, a huge amount of patience, and a genuine tendency to see the best in people. But every time I notice similar narratives or styles in other artists’ work, I start to feel uneasy, because I know exactly where I’ve seen it before. In the creative world, especially now, when AI can reproduce almost anything and the same ideas can appear in different minds at once, it’s somehow not really done to point fingers or openly say that something was stolen. But it’s time to start. Plagiarism, idea theft are everywhere here, among beginners, among those who’ve been in the space for years, and even among artists who sell well and successfully. We all see it. But somehow, it’s like there’s never “enough proof” — no one was caught in the act, and people are afraid of looking stupid if the accusation turns out to be wrong. I personally know 10–20 well-known people here who are 100% stealing in ways that might seem invisible — but they’re not. I see it. For example, I see when my ideas are taken. I see when my work is fed into prompts. I see when people try to copy my styles. I just haven’t spoken about it publicly. But maybe it’s time. Today I’m not going to post any usernames or point fingers. But next time, whether it’s this same person or others, these “artists” who can’t even come up with their own prompts, we will deal with it publicly, so everyone can see who shouldn’t be supported with sales and who shouldn’t be chosen for open calls. I’ll attach examples of my work and someone else’s attempt to replicate it. If you, and everyone else doing this, think I’ve never noticed what you’re doing, you’re wrong. And if you have 50k more followers than I do, that doesn’t mean I won’t publicly show where you’re getting your ideas from next time. This is your first and last warning. I know you guys see it. Happy to share a beautiful moment from my side of the world ;) Today, I had the honor of serving as head of jury at the 5th Russian “Best Talents” Awards, recognizing excellence across business, innovation, creativity, and social impact. It’s a meaningful milestone — both for my country and for my own journey. I feel deeply grateful that this moment has become part of my path as an artist. The ceremony took place at the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry. I managed to capture a few photos before it began, after that, I was completely immersed in the energy, the people, and the experience ❤️
