It is an honour to be selected by @markstrahl to receive the King Charles III Coronation medal for outstanding service to our community and country. I have a strong belief in the power of outdoors and nature. Continuing to speak up for conservation, sustainability, access and opportunities in Canada are crucial motivators that drive me for the future generations of fish and humans. None of this is possible without an understanding wife that allows me the freedom to work on various priorities around Sturgeon, charity work, youth education, the floods, and other advocacy work around fish and wildlife. The City of Abbotsford has declared a State of Local Emergency and has issued an evacuation order for 371 properties in Sumas Prairie West due to risk of flooding. Residents in the affected area must leave immediately.
