Agreed with all, would add a few more filters: - team is responsive and motivated, with good comms - team is in tune with market and technical direction, constantly improving - team is open to feedback and isn’t closed-minded, if there is a better way to do something they will - team hasn’t strayed from the vision to chase short-term metas or do ad hoc stuff for attention and a quick buck - team who sticks to promises and deadlines, during bad PA periods this builds trust

Nobody is trying to control the market. The ask is basic consumer protection disclosure, concentration visibility, opt-in attribution. Every mature market has this. And beyond consumer protection this is about developer retention. Base’s long term value is the builders it attracts. If the rails make serious developers feel unsafe, they build elsewhere. That’s not a market problem, that’s a platform problem.

This is a real problem for the ecosystem. Talented builders are watching this and walking away. Base leadership needs to pay attention to this. You have retail losing money and developers getting burned at the same time. That’s a compounding reputation problem and in this space, one bad story requires 5 good ones to undo. People always remember the bad.
