We're in the process of updating our in-game character portraits. Here's a preview of the new art. These are the faces of field agents, ship captains, border guards, marines, and cold-blooded killers.

Working on implementing a LiDAR concept for Falling Frontier. Still very much in-progress, but the goal is to integrate it into the existing Fog of War system/Uber shader. An immense undertaking from all sides, but worth it. Here's the idea at work in an isolated Unity scene.

To create a richer and fuller world in Falling Frontier, there are systems for background ambient traffic. Transports move between logistical bases so that the endless void of space doesn't feel quite as empty.

@Unikraken @Z7000k Unlikely, Falling Frontier is designed around smaller operational Flotilla's. Ships are complex and pack a lot of firepower which is computationally expensive.

We showed the start of this battle last week. Here's the end of it. The Titan Frigates have successfully dispatched the Pirate Frigates. You can see some physicalized destruction of the enemy ships.

Two Titan frigates, a Berwick class & a Coventry class, engage in battle with two Pirate Frigates, Kongo class & Ryofu class. Here's the start of the battle, including tactical overlay & target designation. Running at 32:9 to show what ultra ultra widescreen support looks like.
