🚨 SUZUKI FRONX First Look Impressions PakSuzuki has finally unveiled the long awaited Fronx in three variants (GLX 63 lacs, GL 61 lacs & GL MT 60 lacs ex factory) GLX is top of the line with Mild Hybrid Technology which basically gives Auto Start/Stop feature and mild battery assistance to engine. Exterior is modern and stylish with a touch of rugged SUV. The design has sleek led lights with plastic claddings throughout the wheel wells. Fronx is equipped with 16” rims with Good year tyres. The overall size though is small even compared to KIA Stonic and Toyota Raize, particularly the length and height of the Fronx give it a hatchback impression more than a crossover. Interior of Fronx is in two tone finish (Brown and Black). It’s tastefully done and color scheme is great. The materials are all hard plastics with suede fabric on doors and the seats are also regular fabric not leather. The features are similar to Swift GLX; Push start, 6 airbags, climate AC & cruise control but with addition of Apple CarPlay / Android auto and paddle shifters. Fronx is decently equipped but these are ordinary features specially at the price of 67 lacs inclusive of taxes, it should have had 360 cameras, auto dimming mirror, e brake, ADAS. Leg and head room is decent. It’s not as spacious as a sedan or big crossover but not cramped by any means in other words similar to Suzuki Swift, boot space is also ample 309L slightly more than Swift. Fronx GLX is equipped with a 1500cc 100 hp engine with 6 speed A/T gear. The performance should be adequate for daily driving and company claims it gives fuel average of 16-18 km/l in city and 20 km/l on highway, which is yet to be tested. I cannot comment on performance and comfort more because test unit wasn’t available. Booking is from full payment and waiting time is 1.5 months. Let’s see how the market responds but in my opinion Fronx GLX with all taxes should have been around 5.8 million. It’s still a good addition to the market and competition is always great.
