This season I spent more then 1000 € only for TRAVELLING to THE CLOSEST POKÉMON LEAGUE (not majors, not including stays and participation costs) Why? Because Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia doesn’t have TPCI Play! Program support. 😭 chng.it/S5XndMYyzv

@ptcgMeesie6x6 Well, sort of what I meant. We are not part of ‚rich’ Europe, thus we must choose between traveling to Regionals or going on holiday with family and friends. And as we still not supported by TPCi - there’s no way we can compete in CP, most of us consider only closest countries.

I mean not being from a “rich” country in europe does probably mean you need to be wealthy (by your countries standards) to travel to the UK/NL. The other way around it’s relatively easy for those countries to travel to anywhere in europe, you don’t need to be particularly wealthy.

I’d like to explain a bit more. From Latvia financially reasonable to travel for Regionals only to closest countries: SE/DK/PL and with consideration: DE, other countries are just out of our pockets😢 It feels so much that Pokémon is for WEALTHY, GRINDERS, and SPONSORED. 😭😭😭

My friend from Latvia and other from Prague were not able to get spots, I heard that Polish players also had some players that weren’t allocated to spots. This event called REGIONAL, maybe it’s actually worth to check REGION of player and give players in this region priority?😭

@StwiAndPokemon That’s amazing! Here in Denmark the card is being held by customs and they will not release it as they want an order confirmation from the sender, and the e-mails from Pokémon are not sufficient. It would have been way easier to get if I got it mailed to my grandparents in LV 😔

@PokeDuelsTikTok I think TPCi should just step in and standardize the entry/prizing/etc with a required entry/payout structure, to make the experience more of the same, regardless of where you're at.
