If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me if Trump is coming back on this platform, Twitter would be minting money!

@Gonsec @ErcXspace @elonmusk That's what they said about landing rockets propulsively. There's no easy alternative for this if you want the rapid turnaround of flights that Starship is designed for. The problem will be launch site redundancy when a landing fails.

@MSNBC @BillNeelyNBC The cause was almost certainly a munitions store catching fire (small, crisp explosions at the start, doesn't look like fireworks) which in turn triggered the detonation of a massive Ammonium Nitrate store nearby which caused the huge vapour shock-wave seen.

@FadyRoumieh The 'cloud' formed is water vapor being condensed out of the air by the shock-wave, a more extreme version of the vapour trails left by aircraft. Evidence however this was a high-explosive detonation, not fireworks which deflagrate.

@FadyRoumieh Having watched all the videos, pretty sure it was a munitions store which then triggered an Ammonium Nitrate detonation. Not fireworks, that was HE to create a shock-wave like that.

@elonmusk , just thought I'd confirm that we were using the acronym first. Below is our 'B4' or 'B-FORE' (big f* off rocket engine) developed for a UK amateur sounding rocket in the late 90's. Will happily let you continue to use it tho ;-)
