Saying they "cancelled" Smacksown is factually incorrect.
Did USA cancel Raw because they didn't renew at the figures TNN/Spike were willing to pay?

@Newt19701 @Jon_Mitchell3 I am aware of that. The situation with Smackdown's rights fees did not play out like a sports rights fee renewal. FOX was not outbid for Smackdown, they did not bid on it because they were not happy with the ROI for the deal as it stood.

Saw a lot of people claiming Smackdown was "canceled" by FOX. That is really insincere. The contract for the rights expired, and WWE got a bigger deal elsewhere.

@mattkoonmusic The solution was to not pivot so suddenly into this in the first place. The solution was to build to a Randy turn and the huge main event that Randy vs Cody could have been if they did it right given their status and history. Problem is, they messed it up before they started.

I dont understand the whole thing about Curtis loan being a mistake. Its went exactly how we hoped it would. Hes getting consistent game time & is improving a lot thanks to this loan. A player his age needs to be involved every game not 1 in 3. For me the loan has been a success
