안녕하세요. 이번에는 ARC 리서치 3주차입니다. 오늘의 주제는 ‘Printr’라는 프로젝트와 Axelar의 상호연관성에 대해서 알아볼 텐데요. Printr라는 프로젝트가 다소 생소하시겠지만, 무엇인지 알고 나면 매우 쉽습니다! 한번 들어가보도록 하죠. Printr? 넌 누군데? 이 프로젝트는 쉽게 말하면, 밈 코인을 모든 체인에 동시에 발사하는 다련장포 같은 녀석입니다. 통상 밈 코인이라 함은 특정 체인에서 발행하고 향후 다른 체인으로 지원 확장되면 브릿지로 연결되고 하는 메커니즘인데요. Printr는 한 번의 설정으로 수십 개 체인(공식 커뮤니케이션에 따르면 69+ 체인)에 토큰을 동시에 배포하고, 거래·유동성·브릿징을 하나의 UX로 묶어주는 체인 추상화 토큰 런치패드에요. 2025년 10월, Bybit 인큐베이션과 함께 총 450만 달러 시드 라운드를 발표하며 본격 런치했죠. 슬로건도 굉장히 직관적입니다: “Memes on evry chain” Axelar와는 무슨 관계인데? 그거 아세요? Axelar Network는 2025년 1월 Printr가 프리시드를 통해 250만 달러 모금할 때에 투자자로 참여했었습니다! 단순히 투자자로써 참여일까요? 아뇨, Axelar는 Printr의 핵심 인프라 파트너입니다. 실제로, Printr는 2025년 10월 시드 라운드로 250만 달러를 추가 모금할 당시에 “Printr의 체인 추상화 아키텍처는 Axelar(그리고 LayerZero도) 덕분에 가능해졌다.” 라고 언급할 정도였죠. 즉, 기술(백엔드) 제공 핵심 파트너이자 초기 투자자로써 Axelar와 끈끈한 관계를 맺고 있습니다. Axelar는 결국.. Printr가 원만히 작동하게끔 하는 엔진 Printr의 핵심 기능 기억하시죠? “동시 배포·체인 통합 유동성·자동 브리징/라우팅” 이 모든 것을 가능하게 하는 것은 뭐다? 바로 Axelar다 이겁니다. 조금 더 기술적으로 들어가 보면, 크로스체인 메시징 & 함수 호출(GMP) : 체인 A에서 체인 B로 “민트·락·정산·콜백” 같은 로직을 표준화된 메시지로 안전하게 전달. 개발자 입장에서는 레고처럼 간편하게 조립, 사용자 입장에서는 ‘원클릭’으로 작동 자산 유통 표준(ITS) & 라우팅 생태계 : 네트워크마다 래핑이 필요 없도록, 경로·가스·체인 전환을 라우터(Squid 같은 녀석들)가 매끄럽게 처리. 따라서 Printr는 Axelar와 Squid가 연결한 체인들에 한 번에 론칭할 수 있죠. 스케일이 매우 중요 : 다수 체인에 동시 다발적으로 밈 코인을 런칭한다. 즉, 이를 위해서는 체인 연결성(스케일)이 매우 중요한데, 이와 같은 측면에서 원 탑은 누구다? Axelar다. 최소 80개 이상의 체인 스케일을 보유하고 있는 Axelar는 매우 파워풀한 인프라가 될 수 밖에 없겠죠. 이해가 편리하게끔 사용 시나리오를 한 번 만들어 볼까요? 밈코인 프로젝트 M이 토큰 파라미터를 입력 → Base·BNB·ETH·Sol·Mantle 등 여러 체인에 즉시 컨트랙트·풀이 생성됨 → Axelar가 크로스체인 정산·라우팅을 백엔드에서 오케스트레이션 → 유저는 한 화면에서 발견 → 매수/매도, 체인 간 이동까지 편리하게 수행 쭉 따라오면, 어떤 임팩트가 있을까요? 바로 다수의 체인에서 동시 다발적인 유동성 유입이 가능해져, ‘초반 유동성 불모지’ 구간을 매우 짧게 만들어 준다는 것! (매우 중요) 결론: Axelar가 깔아둔 무대 위에서 Printr는 폭죽만 쏜다 Printr의 ‘단 한번의 세팅 → 모든 체인 동시 발사’라는 매우 소셜-네이티브한 가치는 사실은 실사용 되기에는 너무나도 어려운 일이었습니다. 바로, Axelar를 만나기 전까진 말이죠. Axelar는 Printr가 꿈꾸는 모든 것을 기술적으로 풀어냅니다. 지난 주 주제에도 간단히 설명 드렸지만, Axelar는 건너갈 수 없는 두 대륙을 이어주는 건설회사이자 해운회사입니다. ITS로 항구를 깔고, GMP로 항로를 연결한 뒤, 라우팅(Squid)으로 배를 띄우죠. 이러한 인프라 기반이 있기 때문에 Printr의 비전과 아키텍처도 실현이 가능해지는 것입니다. 그럼, 재미있게 이해하셨길 바라면서 다음 주제로 또 돌아오겠습니다!

Prediction markets are surging. But is the industry ignoring several multi-billion dollar verticals? As it stands, two event types dominate prediction-market volume: NFL football and political elections. - Kalshi + Robinhood currently lead in professional football, recording ≈ $1.1 billion in NFL contract volume in September 2025 alone (Legalsportsreport, Investopedia). - Polymarket leads global and political forecasting — its NYC mayoral election market traded ≈ $429 million, versus ≈ $71.5 million on Kalshi (Fox Business, Polymarket). Monthly volumes for both platforms regularly reach into the billions, but >80 % of that activity remains concentrated in only a few verticals. So what happens when prediction markets scale beyond sports and politics and what is a potential TAM if creating and speculating in markets becomes as frictionless as using social media? That’s the logical endpoint of permissionless prediction markets: removing gatekeepers so that competition, not curation, drives discovery. Let's play with some numbers. The mid-to-long-tail of prediction markets, covering entertainment, crypto launches, e-sports, fandom, and celebrity outcomes, is still small (≈ $0.6 B in 2024) but growing at 30–40 % CAGR. At that pace, it could reach $2–4 B annual volume by 2030 (MetaTech Insights, internal projections). These estimates don’t yet include a fully permissionless model achieving global product-market fit. Now what about opinion markets? These markets let people speculate on subjective truths, pricing belief not just information: - “Which K-pop group is better?” - “Is Lionel Messi the GOAT?” - “Is Israel committing genocide?” Using attention-based logic: - 5 B internet users × 0.5 % participation × $40/month average volume ≈ $12 B/year potential volume. - Add creator-economy spillover (projected $250 B by 2030; 2–3 % participation = $5–7 B). - Together, opinion markets could represent $15–20 B/year by 2030. Combined TAM (2030 projection): Mid-to-long-tail = $2–4 B Opinion/subjective = $15–20 B → $17–24 B total annual volume by 2030 → ≈ $340–480 M industry-wide platform revenue (2 % take rate). Recap: These projections almost certainly undersell the upside of mid-to-long-tail traditional prediction markets — especially as permissionless systems unlock global participation. At the same time, they likely overestimate near-term growth for opinion markets, which remain an entirely new market primitive still finding its footing. But the direction of travel is clear: there’s a massive, untapped opportunity in subjective markets where speculation, identity, and culture collide. Markets built on facts are bounded by the number of events. Markets built on beliefs are bounded only by the internet. Let the games begin.
