We all fumbled our first interviews… right? We all felt that panic… right? There’s always a starting point. I still remember mine like it was yesterday. All I had to do was pass an API response to the frontend UI… that was it. And guess what? I fumbled it 😂. Now, when I think about it, I just smile and say, thank God for growth. What was your first interview experience like?

In 2015 | dated this girl who I was giving 50 to 70% of my salary every month because we were even planning to get married. I’m not going to say her tribe because at the end of this story you should be able to guess. I didn’t have much money but I was trying my best.
She had this cousin who was abroad at the time, anytime he comes to Nigeria he will give her things, she even introduced me to him.
We were dating for 2 and half years until one day she said she wants to travel home for some weeks, I gave her money to go, 3 weeks later she sent me wedding invitation via WhatsApp, she was getting married to the guy she called her cousin, I thought she was playing a prank on me until I saw wedding pictures on her Facebook page.
I can't even describe how I felt.
I often read similar heartbreaking stories people share on social media platforms but never believed it’d happen to me one day, and the annoying part is I often blame the guys for spending on a lady who doesn’t deserve it not knowing it’d happen to me too.
But I don't blame her, she's abroad now and I am here inside queue trying to buy fuel at 1,350 naira per litre.
Moral Lesson: never think it can’t happen to you…..

This woman in my office took a ₦5 million loan from the cooperative, and it was approved.
She called her church pastor and said;
“Daddy, God has done it, sir! That loan I told you about, I just received it. Please, sir, can you give me the church account number? I want to pay my tithe.”
She was smiling lavishly as she sent ₦500,000 as tithe from the loan money.
Ever since that day, I stopped talking to her, aside from exchanging normal greetings.
I really cannot tolerate f0olish people.

I was with my sister last night. We were talking, and suddenly I asked her, “If you made a 10M profit from a contract, what would you do with the money?” She replied, “I’ll do 500k shopping, send my mom 200k, pay my tithe of 1M, and add the remaining 8M to my japa project.” Honestly, the moment I heard that tithe part, it ruined my evening immediately. Like, wtf 🤦♂️😭 How did Nigerian pastors manage to brainwash women in this country into thinking it’s only when they pay tithe that God will continue to bless them? Right now, I don’t even know how to save my sister again. 1M to pastor? Pour me water 🤦♂️😭

For tithe, the rule is 10 percent of your gain. She made an error there.
For other giving, the amount is irrelevant. As long as it's quality and it's coming from your heart.

It’s not about the loan, she probably did it from a point of Faith, a heart that gives from an empty basket may look foolish, but those kinds of people never lack, I promise. Just leave people to their choices. It may not make sense to you but it may be wisdom to God and that’s all that matters in the end.
