FOMC consensus statement. The Committee updated its framework and reaffirmed the 2 per cent longer run inflation target. The review drew on Fed Listens events and a May research conference.

Monetary Policy Report. The MPC voted 5 to 4 to cut Bank Rate by 25 basis points to 4.0 per cent. Inflation is expected to peak near 4.0 per cent in September and then move towards the 2 per cent target. Future moves remain data driven.

OSFI quarterly release cadence. The Summer 2025 package arrives on 11 September. It includes the final CAR, the final Guideline E 23 on model risk, a letter on AMPs, SCSE insights, and updates to Guideline E 15. Industry Day is on 25 September with a live Q&A.

UK EMIR trade repository reporting. Finalised amendments add an optional Execution agent field and fix a cross reference on UTIs. The implementation date is 26 January 2026. Validation rules and XML schemas go live at the same time.

Sustainable finance cooperation. ESMA and the EEA signed an MoU to share data and expertise and to support supervision of environmental factors within the EU framework.

FRTB postponement. The EBA confirmed its prior no action position remains valid during the extended delay of the revised market risk framework.
