Ag. Director Roads, James Okero, led a team of technical officers from the department in supervising the ongoing works, underscoring the County’s commitment to quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of infrastructure projects.

@MombasaCountyKe through the Department of Transport & Infrastructure have began the construction of the Kona Mbaya–Mtongwe (Likoni) road linking to Mbuta Model Health Centre. The road is being upgraded to cabro standards.

The engagement which was held yesterday was supported by @DreamAchieversk through the DARAJA Project, an initiative focused on improving access to, understanding of, and use of weather and climate information to support early warning & early action in Mombasa County.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review the Working Group’s Terms of Reference, reflect on key disaster risks facing Mombasa, and agree on practical steps that can strengthen preparedness & response coordination moving forward.

Members of the Mombasa County Disaster Management Technical Working Group came together to deepen collaboration around disaster preparedness & early warning systems across the county.

📢 TRADERS RELOCATION ! Traders are kindly urged to safely pack & remove all their belongings from their current stall & move them to a temporary open air market located near the area along Majengo road, as may be directed by the County Director for Trade. #ModernMarket
