The Great Nicobar Project is a big plan by India to build a port, airport, power plant, and military base on Great Nicobar Island. This place is very important because it sits near the Strait of Malacca, one of the world’s busiest sea routes.
China depends heavily on this route over 80% of its oil and a large part of its trade passes through here. This is why China worries about this area. If India becomes stronger here, it gains a big strategic advantage.
India also loses money right now because a lot of its cargo is handled by foreign ports like Colombo. This project can help India become more self reliant and stronger in trade and defence.
At the same time, China has built many ports around India called the “String of Pearls”, so this project is also India’s way of responding.
However,' Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are opposing the project'. They say it can harm the environment and affect the local tribal communities like the Shompen people.
"Rahul Gandhi and his party simply pulling Adani's name,Adani has nothing to do with this project, so dragging Adani’s name into it makes clearly no sense".
Moreover The government says it has taken steps to protect the tribes and that the project is necessary for India’s future.

केदारनाथ धाम में महादेव के आशीर्वाद से विवाह की 40वीं वर्षगांठ की शुरुआत और फिर 4 लाख से ज्यादा कर्मयोगियों से ‘अपनी बात, अपनों के साथ’ जैसी पहल यही दिखाता है कि असली नेतृत्व केवल व्यापार नहीं करता, बल्कि विश्वास, संस्कार और विकसित भारत का विजन भी गढ़ता है।

वैश्विक बाजार में उथल-पुथल के बीच भारत ने ईंधन कीमतों पर मजबूत पकड़ बनाए रखी है। ना पेट्रोल महंगा हुआ, ना डीज़ल, ना LPG सिलेंडर के दाम बढ़े, 80% पेट्रोलियम उत्पादों में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया गया। जनता को राहत मिली है, लेकिन कुछ लोगों को ये भी रास नहीं आ रहा।
उन्हें सिर्फ एक ही प्रोपेगेंडा दिखता हर बार वही महंगाई का राग, लेकिन हकीकत बिल्कुल अलग होती।
