@Dr_HarleySawyer 1. I wasn’t even saying they should’ve revealed it in arg. I said that it needs to be done in a cutscene between characters how other normal games do 2. Poppy’s identity was revealed in a tape in ch4 3. Just because there are worse things doesn’t mean that it was good

@SubjectSignals No? I’m just saying that revealing an identity in a vhs tape is better than the ARG stuff where they gave us Yarnaby, Harley, and CatNap’s whole backstory in them lol. A Fortnite map even revealed Poppy’s identity to be Poppy Ludwig. That tape isnt really wild compared to this 🤷‍♂️

@SubjectSignals Is it being overprotective when I’m just speaking facts lol? I know a lot about Mob and Poppy Playtime. Way more than the average person would know. I use this information to answer questions people may have. That’s all there is to it. I have all the answers… 😛

@SubjectSignals Tbf it’s better for people who only play the chapters because ARG’s always reveal stuff that normal players aren’t going to learn. We got a whole Harley backstory in chapter 4’s ARG and all that info can’t be found in the game I’m pretty sure 😭

i dont think this should be taken TOO far honestly, this was probably after chapter 3, when chapter 4 released it was negatively taken, rightly so, and theyve definitely improved. not saying theyre innocent but theyre not the worst people ever either

@SubjectSignals @Pengling_p They need to be a lot more open about certain lore, if they've got a huge patch (hopefully) coming up like they did with 4 I hope that they tweak some of the cassette placements

@daridoey @Pengling_p Also I hope you understand it that if it’s a trend it doesn’t mean it’s always good and should be followed I get it. It’s mascot horror and everything revolves around mystery but we’re on chapter 5 and the game is still overly vague about stuff, it’s afraid of being clear

@SubjectSignals @Pengling_p That's the problem, tapes have ALSO revealed catnaps identity (I forgot until after I made the reply) "no one's coming to save you Theodore", both their identities were hidden in tapes, one definitely better than others but it's still a flawed way to do it

@daridoey @Pengling_p But like, I don’t mind it if they do it with minor/background characters, but revealing THE MOST IMPORTANT and CRUCIAL plot points in tapes and notes is just so lame

@SubjectSignals @Pengling_p The prototypes identity should have been revealed in a cutscene or a more out in the open tape I'll admit but there are a lot of tapes out in the open that explains a lot of the story such as the 23 toys escaping the factory, lily lovebraids transformation and other stuff

@SubjectSignals @Pengling_p They also showed catnaps identity in an argument? Yes chapter 5s prototype tape is probably one of the weaker bits of storytelling but it's a flaw on basically all the chapters

@Pengling_p honestly? for me? i do think chapter 5 is the best chapter when it comes to storytelling, voice acting, lore and probably gameplay? its just the environments that i dont really like, chapter 3 does this a lot better, but id also say 4 takes the cake with all the dead staff

@Carter08328077 @MadnessoKnight @daridoey And none of this will happen🔥 if MOB actually hires that horror specialist it might become scarier but I heavily doubt it since they had ZERO reasons to make the recent chapters less scary and dark (I do appreciate the bodies and Riley in ch4 though. Wish we had more of that)

@MadnessoKnight @daridoey I guess we will see, they’ll prob save their best material to shove in the last chapter, most likely won’t be for another 5 chapters, or they’ll make Poppy Playtime 2 and do more chapters with that
