@TechHighest @showtc_ i agree. especially if such tips are not useful for my usage.

@DeepakNesss I added a block for Git commands to the rules because of that.
Even then, this model sometimes feels the urge to run 'git status' out of nowhere.

I was using Gemini 3.5 Flash in the Antigravity CLI and accidentally told it to "commit and push" when I only wanted to commit locally.
And, oh boy, things went completely wrong. 🤡
The Flash model found a different folder with a similar name, took its remote GitHub repo link, and force-pushed the completely new code straight to the main branch of a totally different project which was in production!
Thankfully, I caught this within 5 minutes and fixed immediately.

@yacinelearning Right, that's why Grok is leading the AO revolution.

@lexrus Tell me Gemini translated that text, without telling me Gemini translated that text
English

@natanielruizg Could you explain?
Im a non-native english speaker and that sounds pretty normal to me.

Thanks for all of the Antigravity feedback over the last couple of days, especially around the IDE. Our intention was never to remove the IDE support for developers, and we should have been clearer with that in the product from the beginning.
We’ve made it clearer in 2.0 on how to connect to the IDE, fixed issues with opening the IDE on Windows machines, provided instructions to restore IDE settings & extensions, and more.
New releases for the Antigravity IDE and Antigravity 2.0 have rolled out with these changes.
We should have done better so we’re going to reset everyone’s Gemini quota for the week again.

Hey @Antigravity,
There's a bug in the Windows 2.0 app: when the agent edits the implementation plan while I have it open, I have to close and reopen the file in the side panel to see the updates.
I haven't tested this with code related files yet.

English

@_arohan_ I remember 2.5 being really depressed when faced with challenges.
English

@antonpme @JustinGorya Yeah.
It's not as good as the 3.1 or the 3 Flash, but it's definitely better than any other Frontier model.
English

I'm not happy with 3.5 Flash, but I have to disagree regarding UI. I've tested it on three tasks. I gave those tasks to five different models, including GLM 5.1, Kimi K 2.6, Gemini 3 Flash, and Opus 4.7, and I would say that Gemini 3.5 Flash gave me the best result. It is just on a completely different level.
English

@manthanguptaa In using it.
its a mixture of feelings.
the worst thing is not having my files at my disposal anymore.
Actually, its not having git integration... i have to keep vs code open just for that.
And also not having a model that know how to fallow rules...
a misture of feelings.

I am interested in knowing who is using Antigravity and how they find it, as compared to other tools, because I haven't heard anyone use it

Yesterday, we 3x’d limits on Antigravity and are seeing you build so much more. One thing we heard was people are worried about hitting their weekly limits after a couple work sessions. To give you more runway, we’re 3x’ing the weekly Gemini quotas AGAIN on all paid plans. We’ve also gone ahead and reset Gemini quotas on all paid plans. Don’t stop building!
English

hey, @antigravity, whats the context windows inside the app?
Gemini keeps getting into a loop of: read huge amount of files -> compress -> repeat.
I haven't changed anything on my end.
English

@kevinhou22 Yes, but could you please add Git support? It's inconvenient having to open another app just to deal with Git stuff.
English

Antigravity IDE is just now a separate app from Antigravity 2.0!
I spend most of my time in 2.0 personally and use it to review diffs + view files. I still hop into the IDE for some of my work...or if I'm feeling nostalgic for autocomplete / want to handwrite some artisan code line by line 🙂
The future of coding is agentic and we wanted to give users the option to use either or both the agent-first 2.0 experience or the traditional IDE experience. Same agent, same models, different form factors.
More context: for existing AGY users, Antigravity IDE was merely renamed and is still installed on your machine. If you're a new 2.0 user and want the IDE, you download it from our website separately: antigravity.google/download

Antigravity 2.0 does not even have an "IDE". Is that Google's way of saying: "you need not look at the code anymore"?
English

I'm having a problem where, within a single prompt, Gemini in Antigravity compacts the conversation multiple times.
This causes the model to get lost frequently, and I have to constantly remind it of the task.
It's really frustrating.

@altryne @bennash @andyzhang @antigravity This does not work.
I can guarantee you that it is mathematically impossible to determine the origin of a text with 100% accuracy like that.
Reguardless, everything he said is true unless you can provide proper counterargument.
English

I’m so proud of the @antigravity team for everything we’ve launched today.
We introduced Antigravity 2.0, a desktop application to manage all of your agents. The team poured a lot of heart into this and I can’t wait for you to try it alongside Gemini 3.5 Flash.
