levels in an FLR that nobody actually explains: lvl 1: she leads, he follows. you're probably already here and just calling it "partnership." lvl 2: she sets the direction. he stops asking permission and just supports it. lvl 3: structure is real now. expectations are clear. this isn't just when it's convenient or fun anymore. lvl 4: full commitment. roles are non-negotiable. consistency stops being a goal and becomes the baseline.

These clouds have given me a few grey hairs, but I'm finally getting close to the quality/performance sweet spot I'm shooting for. This is running at 60FPS @ 2K (M1 Pro). I'd like to hit >90FPS since that doesn't leave much headroom. Time to go read some read some more papers.
