Just in: North Carolina's Caleb Wilson broke his right thumb in a non-contact drill in practice Thursday and has undergone season-ending surgery, sources tell ESPN. Wilson is expected to be cleared during the NBA predraft process, where he'll compete to be the No. 1 pick in June.

Hiring a good S&C coach is such an important hire at any level. Especially at the high school, coaching at that level for a while helped me understand that. Even more at the college level. It is such a difference maker and develops these young student athletes the right way. High School S&C coaches see 300-500+ students a day with fully bought in school systems. It’s critical you hire a qualified person, but also the right-fit to train and impact your students daily If you get this hire right it’ll be the most impactful hire you make in the school

@Successfulcj No. That length is going to hurt him. Trust me I’m a big “f the measurements” but you need length on the edge in the NFL. Especially as a 4-3 team.

I am a Reuben Bain fan. I’m having trouble fitting him as a 3-4 OLB or 4-3 DE. He’s giving me Robert Nkemdiche vibes. I hate being that guy but he needs to be the next Byron Murphy.

Source: UTEP is promoting Kyle Beyer to defensive coordinator. He’s moving up from special teams coordinator and LB coach, and he’ll continue to coach UTEP’s linebackers. He has DC experience from Indiana Wesleyan in 2022, which reached the NAIA semis and allowed 13.8 ppg.

The #Bears' savage '46 defense' shuts down the Rams, 24-0 — the franchise's first NFC title, and the first time in NFL history that a team records consecutive shutouts in the same postseason.
After having gained an NFL playoff record 248 yards a week earlier, Eric Dickerson is limited to only 46 yards by #DaBears. The Rams offense totals just nine first downs and 130 net yards.
As "Bear Weather" arrives in the fourth quarter, Richard Dent forces a fumble by Rams quarterback Dieter Brock. Wilber Marshall recovers it and travels 52 yards through the flurries for a touchdown.
