Less than 7 days in: 1. Housing promises exposed as unachievable. 2. “National Wealth Fund” exposed as nothing more than an investment vehicle for banks and investors, it is not a fund investing Britain’s wealth (we only have debt, not wealth). 3. Keir says it’s ok to fire British missiles into Russia (as if he has a clue on foreign policy) The “useful idiots” are in charge of us. They are the most obviously planted team of ex-Oxford and LSE trained finance managers who are now working for the massive private companies behind planned government spending. I know they think they’re going to do good. The blend of naivety and inexperience at the hands of the money guys reminds me what it was like as an entrepreneur getting my first few rounds of investment going in the early 2000s. You’re thrilled and excited and think you’re going to change the world. Then reality slowly sinks in over the next few years. The investors never gave a stuff about your mission. Lambs to the slaughter, all of us, the new government themselves as well as the electorate. The signs are there for anyone who understands to see. But we choose to vote them in and cheer. God I hope I’m wrong. Because if I’m not, quality of life for most people is about to get much worse and then housing market will be hit the worst (by which I mean affordability).
