The Goobr situation is honestly super sad. A lot of people find it funny, but in reality this is a man who is now mid 20s with no life skills, $3m of debt and a genuine illness. He was used to generate millions of $ for the company that allowed him to get to this point. This guy will be an addict for life and we all know where that ends. Questions need to be asked about a casino's responsibility when it comes to protecting their streamers, especially when they create so much value. This is a man who pinged his discord daily saying he was going to kill himself, and the casino allowed the shit show to continue while earning millions. Disgusting imo

He has deleted all of his socials because the debt was too much, based on statistics he will likely end his life if this isn't an internet stunt. He also doesn't 'make' $80k per month, he gambles $80k a month and loses even more. It's sad when anyone loses money that they can't afford but his affiliates have access to anti-gambling tools that he doesn't due to the nature of his job.
