12 of our children had their posters chosen and received amazing prizes - these included a signed football, t-shirt and even a tour of the Tottenham Hotspur stadium! More importantly, the children met a real life 'game changer'!

Suffolks has been featured in The Telegraph! Back in October, for Black History Month, the children were challenged to create a poster about someone they believe is a 'game changer'. This is someone who has made a huge difference to society and who has promoted positivity.

Ledley King, footballing legend, gave the children an inspiring speech and answered some excellent questions posed by the children! We are very proud of everyone who took part.

The children were also reintroduced to the CEOP button which is an online reporting platform that they can use if they are concerned around online abuse. The CEOP button can be found on our school website in the pupil zone. #SaferInternetDay2023 #SaferInternetDay

This year's theme is 'Want to talk about it?' We have done lots of work around who we can speak to if we are feeling unsafe online.

Today is SAFER INTERNET DAY! We have been learning lots today about how to stay safe online and the steps we can take to protect ourselves. We also looked back at our online safety unit from the Autumn term - it's important we use our learning so we don't lose it!

An amazing opportunity for our children! They were so inspired to see @CutiRomero2 's World Cup medal! They also really enjoyed getting to learn some new footy skills!

The amazing Marion. Marion retires next week and today at the KS2 Panathlon @Panathlon presented her with a trophy to recognise all of her hard work.

Before half term, we had a very special visitor to our school to film an advert! @_DeclanRice - England and West Ham player - signed a ball and two flags for us to give away in a raffle. Every child in the school was given 1 entry to the draw! Well done to all of our winners!

Some of our children have been having weekly reading sessions with U18 players from Tottenham Hotspur! This is part of the education programme for the young players at Tottenham and is a great experience for our children at Suffolks! Look out for some more photos soon!
