I know this is sudden but I need help getting a washing machine and dryer. The house I'm living in didn't come with either and my sister and her boyfriend didn't keep up with the payments, so the washer and dryer we *did* have was repossessed. Now that I'm living on my own, I've been needing to either have my grandma wash my clothes or put my clothes in the dishwasher. I wanna see a training banner. Like, the LIs helping MC hone her fighting skills to combat Wanderers. I just really like it when the LIs act as mentor figures to MC, like Sylus teaching MC how to box in Captivating Moment. There's just something really wholesome about it to me, especially when they show pride in how much she learned from them.

I’ve been operating with the assumption that Sylus is human in the present day, so I never imagined him with any of the dragon or demon traits he had in his previous lives. *If* he has wings though, I imagine they'd either be black feathered wings (explaining where the feathers come from when he teleports), or he could *create* wings with his Evol to travel long distances without his car or motorcycle.

I still have this theory that we are going to see Sylus’s wings in the main story. With the increased presence of antimatter weapons being used by EVER, I could see him getting injured and losing the ability to conceal them. Through Death and Rebirth, we already got confirmation of his wings and his ability to conceal them, so now it feels like it is just a matter of when and how we see them.

I've seen quite a few people interpret Darkbound Souls as Sylus trying to make MC fall into the darkness "like he always wanted". While I can definitely see where they're coming from, I don't necessarily agree. I don't think Sylus is actively trying to turn MC into the kind of person who'd take revenge on some random nobody of a lowlife criminal just because she can get away with it. I think he's just letting her know that she has the free will to follow her desires wherever they may lead. Remember, the first time they ever met was back on Philos when he was a dragon and she was a sorceress who was punished for the crime of desiring the companionship of a dragon-engraved lamp. Everyone in Ivory City was forced by the Sanctuary to not follow their desires, effectively squashing any and all free will, and MC was only able to attain free will after meeting Sylus. She may not remember that past life, but Sylus does, and he doesn't want her to feel as though she can't do what she wants just because somebody else may judge her for it. Not anymore, in any life. That's why Sylus doesn't care that MC chose to spare Graymist. The goal wasn't to get her to kill somebody she hated, it was to remind her for the umpteenth time that she can do whatever she wants when she's with him, even if that means killing a man to take revenge. Her decision not to is enough to make Sylus curious, but that's it. He ultimately respects MC's choice because it was her own choice to make. MC made a choice of her own volition instead of letting someone else tell her what to do or losing herself in her own desire for vengeance. I think that's all Sylus wants; for her to live freely and die without regrets, just like she wanted to all those lifetimes ago.

this side by side comparison with NOS shows just how far sylusmc have come. in NOS mc still hadn’t fully given in to desire’s pull and u can see she was still holding herself back. in DS she not only gives in to it, but she hungers for it. she’s freer and a lot more bolder too. its as if all the time she spent with sylus not only made her buried desires stronger, but also sharper and harder to suppress; because that’s what sylusmc’s bond is: it thrives on mutual greed and their connection is intensified because of it.

Maybe his Aether Core glows as he desperately tries to find some spark of desire left in her, but all signs of life are gone. He'd be left holding his beloved tightly, as if trying to become one with her, while begging her to wake up. When she doesn't, he solemnly promises to find her in the next life, as he's done before.
