@Top100Rick My perspective changed on this recently after I saw someone say that the round needs to count. If the course doesn't register against your handicap, then it technically wouldn't count.

Can we agree on minimum requirements to count a hole in one? Grant Horvat made a “hole in one” from 40 yards off a mat. Most aren’t counting it. 100 yards? Mats don’t count? Par 3 course? There is a limit somewhere. Mini golf doesn’t count.
