On April 11, I decided to do something different from staring at my screen all day, I attended a Web3 event in Lagos. It was the @sol_hack3rs Coffee Meetup at Café One, UNILAG. It turned out to be a great time. I had really nice chats with young builders and students in Nigeria, saw what they’re building, shared ideas, and gave my input as a Growth Strategist. It’s been a fun week since then because SolHack3rs already had a great plan for every single person. An online SolHack3rs Nigeria community was created that same day. We onboarded more builders into the community to apply for the @QEFAInitiative x @FrontierPass_PR Hackathon. A lot of backend work has gone into ensuring that Gen Z Web3, tech, and AI builders in Nigeria can win and get more opportunities to fund their dreams and ideas. By the way, there’s a hackathon powered by SolHack3rs currently on. Although applications have closed, you can still follow the online hackathon running from April 27th–29th and attend Demo Day on April 30th.
