PPP remained an active stakeholder & has acted within the scope of its mandate. President Zardari’s diplomatic leverage with China is well established. Even domestically, he was the one bringing provinces on board & aligning them on key policy responses to crises emanating from the war situation. But PPP did not engage in loud drum-beating, in line with a President whose legacy is rooted in strengthening Parliament & empowering the Prime Minister, rather than overstepping constitutional mandates like some of his predecessors. As for JD Vance’s visit, it is important, especially for seasoned journalists, to clearly distinguish between a bilateral state visit & a visit where Pakistan’s role is that of a facilitator enabling engagement between two countries at war. A fair analysis of the matter would also acknowledge Chairman @BBhuttoZardari’s role in effectively projecting Pakistan’s position on the global stage through consistent engagement with international media. All facts must be put together before drawing conclusions.

And what research, what facts support these claims? And what exactly is this so-called foreign policy fiasco? Then again, when have tirades against PPP ever really been substantiated?!

Sindh has removed the wheat sale cap, so farmers are no longer restricted to selling just 5 bags per acre - giving them more financial security through assured procurement. In line with Chairman @BBhuttoZardari’s vision of supporting small farmers, Sindh Govt is prioritizing this direct procurement - especially from the 300,000+ farmers registered under the Benazir Hari Card. The process has also been fully digitalized to cut out middlemen & keep things transparent as farmers are being paid within a single day of procurement, directly into their bank accounts.
