in a wild turn of events, the bike has been recovered!! It's a hell of a story, kind of, I'm not going to share it again. 🤣 Once I decompress and breathe a little, I'll get GFM refunds out there. Many thanks to everyone for the love and support.

And then took off. We waited for about 40 minutes once we found the bike for the police disbatch but no one showed up. So... dude knows there's a tracker on the bike and the cops still haven't followed back up with the info we now have (address, license plates, photos).

Partners ebike just got stolen in the two minutes it took to run groceries upstairs. They use it for doordash and are fucking gutted. Just.. christ. We had a real big falling out and they've busted ass this past month and now this. They deserve so much better. :(

@VW I mean, feel free to log feedback but I have three vehicles on my test drive list this week and a trade-in offer ready to go. I provided multiple pictures of other Taos' with the same color and paint issue but I get nothing but 'yeah that sucks.'

Not that @VW particularly cares (ironic that) but after the way my concerns with this car have been handled and the dealership, brand confidence completely lost.

@HolyHellHope @VW Had a guy come up last week asking what shop repainted the hood on my car cause they "fucked it up." Told him it was factory. Third body shop guy to see it and just shake his head. VW's completely dismissed me, the service rep said "it's not even worth talking to (his) manager.)

@VW Last time that happened, we were at least on city streets and I could duck into an apartment complex. Also doesn't hold trade in value for beans. Been watching it drop like a rock for the past year. It's time. Fuck it.

@VW I also absolutely don't trust the Taos to hit 200k miles. I had the instrument cluster vomit warning lights and all power to drive fail out on the highway after I had it appraised, go figure. Turning it off and on again works, just a pain in the ass on the freeway.
