@polishmanium @WallStreetApes Nice ad hominem and since I never said I was scared we can throw a strawman in there too. Do you have an actual rebuttal?

@SumFacet @WallStreetApes So you’re scared of the boogie man… ok dude. No one’s coming for you lol. Calm down.

🚨 Georgia Power is forcing a family off their farm with eminent domain for a Data Center
“I'm fighting for survival of my cattle farm. I'm here because a massive data center was approved just a couple of miles from my land — and I'm being hounded by Georgia Power for an easement to build transmission lines through my property for the data center”
“I'm a local farmer, not an industrial developer. These 500-kV lines aren't for me. They are for the data centers that the boards and surrounding counties continue to approve. I have mail from lawyers stacking up on my kitchen table wanting to take my case because they know my land is being targeted for eminent domain — These easements are permanent.
They affect my ability to graze my cattle, they lower my property value, and they destroy the rural character of this county forever. This board makes decisions to approve these massive, massive projects, but it's residents like me, young people trying to build a life here, who pay the price.
You're voting to turn our farms into a network of high-voltage wires and noisy industrial buildings.
I'm asking you to realize the real-world impacts of your votes. Every time you say yes to a data center, you're saying no to a local farmer. We aren't just numbers on a map. We are the future of the county, and right now you're making that future impossible.“
This data center project affects over 330 private properties. Georgia Power says it will negotiate purchases and easements and use eminent domain
Georgia Power claims its to strengthen the grid for the growing energy demand in Georgia (due to many new data centers)
The lines are widely linked to Project Sail
This isn’t a small operation. Project Sail is a $17 billion hyperscale data center campus by Prologis, Atlas that includes 9 massive buildings totaling up to 4.34 million square feet on 829 acres. It will demand hundreds of megawatts of continuous power equivalent to what a small city uses
We cannon allow data centers to take priority over farmers

@SumFacet Do you think it's reasonable for people to drink alcohol? Would you think differently during prohibition? Would your stance on the matter change back and forth depending on what other people decided that day? You tell me how much of a pushover you are. 😂

Administrative assistant for the city believe her feelings trump the rights of the citizens.
In this tense encounter, an independent journalist enters city offices to exercise a basic legal right: inspecting the public records index. Under Washington state law (RCW 42.56.070), this document is required to be available for public inspection. It’s not a favor; it’s the law.
Enter Sabrina Costik, an administrative assistant who claims to be "brand new" but is already attempting to rewrite the Constitution based on her personal feelings.
The exchange highlights a growing and dangerous trend in public service—the idea that personal "traumas and triggers" override the civil rights of the public. Throughout the video, Sabrina argues that:
Her "comfort level" should dictate where a citizen stands.
Her "liberties" are being violated by a camera in a government building.
Recording her is "incredibly rude," effectively prioritizing social etiquette over the First Amendment.
The situation required the intervention of Deputy Chief Matt McKnight of the Chehalis Police Department. In a masterclass of de-escalation and legal clarity, McKnight had to explain the hard truth to his own staff: when you are a public servant in a public building, you do not have a "reasonable expectation of privacy" while performing your duties.
McKnight—who is currently campaigning for Lewis County Sheriff—remained professional, but the core issue remains: Why are public employees being put behind counters without a fundamental understanding of the Bill of Rights?
As far as McKnight, he is running for sheriff in 2026 and his understanding and respect for the rights of the citizens is everything you would want in county sheriff.
That said, as far as Sabrina, when "I’m uncomfortable" becomes a tool to suppress transparency, the public loses.

@DerrickEvans4WV Where are the "climate changers?" Sus that they aren't protesting these power guzzling things.
English

@chrisfelcker The discussion is about the bigger concept of right and wrong, not what the law says. 🤣
Yeah we're done here.

English

@SumFacet Well he was a complete asshat for starters, but the bigger point is that "his right" is arbitrary and depends on the law. Laws can and do change. The discussion is about the bigger concept of right and wrong, not what the law says.
English

@chrisfelcker @GigglingGanon How so? All he did was defend his right to be there and record. He didn't try to control her in any way.
English

@SumFacet @GigglingGanon The guy recording this video sure seemed to think he did.

The Director of the World Health Organization admits the Hantavirus outbreak is now being used to push a massive vaccination agenda for children.
He says his “safe and effective” vaccine is the only way to protect yourself.
He is demanding that governments around the world give him more money to expand his vaccination agenda so he can “protect children.”
“Wider impact is expected.”
English

@chrisfelcker @GigglingGanon It's not it's WAY safer to have a private citizen film you than the government. The citizen has no authority over you.
English

@SumFacet @GigglingGanon As if that’s the same as a civilian getting all up in your face and then storing it on personal devices. 🙄
English

@SumFacet @GigglingGanon LOL her only reasonable expectation for privacy was long ago in her mother’s birth canal.
English

@polishmanium @WallStreetApes LMAO! You think the winners of the AI race are altruistic or worse that the government actually cares about us?
We'll be made "redundant" when the time comes.
English

Building AI is like building the railroad when trains came out. We gotta build them for the good of society. You think train tracks didn’t go through people’s farms at the time? Get over it. Take the money and get a new farm. If AI works out then we all don’t have to work anymore and go explore space or something cool.
English

@WallStreetApes Who wouldn't want power lines running through their farm?
English

@OurOwnNation Imagine if Brits were looking to beat up German citizens over the atrocities of WWII - which were FAR worse than any thing a slave suffered.

Joe Rogan on the military draft talk:
“These motherfckers are talking about drafting people. Palantir thinks we should re-introduce conscription. I don’t understand why anybody would wanna support that. How about fck you — you go.”
No more endless wars. No more sending other people’s kids to die.

@mattvanswol Arafath Mohammad is white. A bunch of woke People are scared of sharia law.
English

🚨#BREAKING: A permit to demolish a residential home and build a 3,000 square foot mosque just outside of Charlotte NC, has been DENIED by the County Council.
"Arafath Mohammad" did not inform any neighbors of his plan to build a mosque when he purchased the home.
Residents stormed the council hearing saying:
“Islam is not a religion, it’s a takeover,” said a Lancaster County resident opposed to the project.
“We do not want Sharia law in this area,” said another Lancaster County resident.
After 2 HOURS of residents voicing their opposition, the council unanimously denied the permit.
