ENG Today i would like to announce that i’ve decided to step down from active roster and retire as a player, well i don’t know where to start and how to end my writting because there are lots of words to say in my mind :) So first of all i’ve been played for 8 years straight from CSGO and VALORANT and i gave all of my passion and love to these two and got a lot of memories and happiness with everything happened during my time. But recently i also realised my mental and body health is not like before when i started even though with the help of org i could get to talk sports psychologist for help, felt it went so deep already now to go back to recover and i’ve been recently started to have stacked stress. It’s not like usual of me since i have low energy compare to before so i thought i couldn't help the team with the circumstances. So to take care my self about my health and self development for me i contemplated to step down my self from the roster and mutually talked with team to come up with this result, i appreciate to the org understanding about my situation <3 And most importantly, other than my health as a Korean i have to go serving for National Military Service that’s why i’ve concluded to make decision at this point. Hoping that i can comeback with refreshed mindset and energy and passion. when i think i'm ready i'm willing to comeback and see you guys again !!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE U I would like to give huge respect&thanks to everyone who supported me when i first came in the NA league. And it was priceless warm hearted support for me from the all of the fans very beginning when i came in the States and i can confidently say it made better version of me now also as a player. It will be something i can’t never forget in my life for sure. Also thank u so much for the taking care of me and helping and pushed me to be better player it was pure joy to be a teammate with you donkeys @mitchfps @leaf_cs @Xeppaaa @Vanityxz @poizFPS @floppyCSGO @JamezIRL and others ! And last of all thank you for trusting me and helped me to make this life memories @Cloud9 @JackEtienne 🙏 한국어 안녕하세요, xeta입니다. @T1 @JoeMar

My Retirement ♥️ : Today, I officially announce that I’m retiring from competitive league of legends for good, and moving on to other things. What an amazing journey it's been for me in Esports, some of the memories I’ve made and people I’ve met will stay with me for life. Around November, I didn’t find an LCS team for the spring split, and it left me asking myself really important questions. Will I be happy enough to potentially wait a full year or more for an LCS team to decide to sign me? The uncertainty surrounding job security, even what my salary might be in the coming year, was starting to cause me a lot of anxiety. The LCS going through financial turmoil; even cutting out two teams from the league with no real plan in place moving forward to replace them, also felt awful. I really hope for everyone continuing in the LCS and dedicating their lives to it, that there is a more promising future. I’ll always be rooting for you guys. Coming off a very successful split on EG, where I felt like I had really proven my worth as a LCS top laner, my jobs/place in the league was not secure. I’m aware things like this could happen to any player though. Even someone like Licorice who was voted 1st all pro was left without a spot in the league this split. However, the waiting game for me, giving away a year of my life or more potentially, doesn’t really sit right with me and align with my life goals. When I left school to become an LCS player, I told myself that I would do this until I felt like my career wasn’t going on an upward trajectory anymore. The reason for this was I had sacrificed a lot leaving university and pursuing my goal of becoming a doctor. I was two years into my degree in neuroscience, and had only one year remaining to complete it and apply to medical school. Leaving school meant also leaving all my scholarships, where I had a full ride to my university. I always had plans some day to return and complete this journey. To this day, I have no regrets doing that despite how tumultuous my career has been. I know I still had more to show competing in LCS, and still wanted to reach my goal of making worlds some day, but my decision and timing to retire still feels right to me and makes me happy. I really look forward to announcing some exciting things soon in the future about my life/journey going back to university, and hope that you guys will support that too. I especially want to thank all my fans and friends in the LCS who supported me throughout my career. If it wasn’t for you guys, I definitely could not have stuck through it this long, especially through the hard times. Special thank you to coach @AndreGuilhoto94 , who took a chance on me to put me in LCS 4 years ago when no one else believed in me. Understandably, my first year in academy was awful, so people didn’t think I was ready for LCS yet. However, he spawned in from Europe, opened the NA soloQ ladder, saw I was rank 1 and 2 at the time, and decided he wanted me as his top laner. Despite so many people telling him not to take me, he still decided to, and that is why I was able to break into the LCS. An interview with @AshleyKang about my retirement where I go more in depth about things will be released soon, so look forward to that too! Thank you for reading :D
