Becoming a high school official is the easiest call you’ll ever make. Representatives from each sport will be at Redmond High School on Thursday, May 11 from 6-8:00 pm to sign up anyone interested in becoming an official for next school year. Spread the word.
OSAA 5A Academic All State - Summit girls basketball, first place with a 3.89 team GPA; boys basketball, third place with a 3.66 GPA and wrestling, fourth place with a 3.30 GPA. Congratulations to those programs and their student-athletes.
Congratulations to the Summit Boys Basketball team for getting 2nd place at the OSAA 5A State Basketball tournament on Friday. The boys finished the season as IMC champs with a record of 21-6. Pearson Carmichael and Collin Moore were both named to the All-Tournament team
The Storm Alpine team won the Boys/Girls combined team championship and the Girls team brought home the Giant Slalom title at the OISRA state race. The girls also finished 4th ( SL) and 2nd (Combined) and the boys finished 2nd (SL), 4th (GS) and 2nd (Combined).
Preston Schock (3rd SL & 3rd Combined), Cooper Kirchmeier (2nd GS) Matalyn Horbeck (5th GS) and Anja Bond-Welch (9th GS) all finished the season strong at the OISRA State Alpine Championships
Two individual state champs. Ginger Kiefer won the 500 meter freestyle and Liam Gilman won the 100 meter backstroke to help the boys and girls swim teams take home team trophies at the 5A State Swim Championships
The boys swim team brought home the 5A State Swim Championship today while the girls took home the third place trophy. Congratulations to the team and coaches.

Good luck to the Summit Swim Team as they compete in the IMC District Swim Meet Friday and Saturday at Juniper Swim and Fitness. Prelims begin Friday at 5:00 pm and finals start Saturday at 1:30. Admission - $6 for adults and $4 for students.
Help us congratulate Coach Strang and Coach Hyatt as they were both recently honored as Oregon coaches of the year. Strang was honored by the USTFCCCA as the Oregon Girls XC coach of the year. Hyatt was named as the 5A Oregon Football coach of the year by SBLive and the Oregonian
