We hosted our annual Skills Competition at TCAT Portland today. Students competed in Automotive, Cosmetology, Welding, Machining, Construction, and Criminal Justice competitions. Way to go to all of our students! #SumnerCTE

When your skills competition group wants to get some last minute practice in. These PHS welders met at 6:30 this morning to practice.! Early bird gets the worm! Good luck to our CTE students and advisors competing in Skills Competition today!

We welcomed the Class of 2030 to PHS at the CTE and Fine Arts Showcase with Freshman Orientation! Guidance counselors, instructors and student leaders were on hand to explain programs and the registration process. Huge shoutout to our student leaders who represent PHS so well!

Digital Arts 1 is learning elements of design and this past week was all about the element of shape and line. They learned how to use the shape and shape builder tool in Adobe Illustrator. Here are some characters that they built the skills they learned.
