@MarngelRambles I feel like if we’re just speaking narratively it could go both ways. Yeah if SOMA is tru then the point is they could live a good life even in the circus. If soma isn’t tru tho it could be that the circus is meant to make them appreciate their real world mundane lives more

I used to dislike the SOMA theory because it’s such a nihilistic idea for the fate of the TADC characters. But as the show progressed, I realized not only how likely it is, but how much it makes sense narrative-wise.

@weirdbeingg I think it’s a 95% chance the SOMA theory is true but tbf I find it unlikely that CnA discovered advanced ai technology then just fell off the face of the Earth but also leaving said technology running undisputed for decades so I do think someone is pulling the strings
