Watch for Stephon Castle’s EPIC slam. Stay for Wemby’s reaction 😮 Castle (21y, 200d) became the youngest player in NBA history to post 25+ PTS, 5+ REB and 5+ AST in a Conference Finals game. The previous youngest? Kobe Bryant (21y, 277d).

@MaximeAubin1 @JeffGSpursZone I don’t think that’s a crazy thing to say. He was only a head coach for like three years at that point. Pop would be the first to say he was incredibly lucky to have the players he did. He grew into one of the greatest coaches ever right alongside his players.

In the video teaser above, from a French TV show, Tony Parker seems to downplay Greg Popovich’s impact before he joined the Spurs in 2001, taking a shot at the 1999 championship in particular: “I mean, Pop was just getting started (in 1999), it was only his fourth year. (…) He hadn’t been named NBA Coach of the Year (…) (A ring?) I mean a ring that everybody criticized. Come on, let’s put things in perspective here.”

@RapidResponse47 @RobertJSalvador For a long time, big tech companies were criticized for sitting on capital and not investing in America’s heartland. Those were fair criticisms and there are many others. But don’t they deserve some credit for making these investments? You have to acknowledge good behavior.

Google announces a $15B data center in Mid-Missouri, creating thousands of construction jobs & hundreds of permanent jobs: "It won't hurt the water supply as it will be built with air cooling technology. [Google's] going to spend $20M to drive down energy bills for residents."

They want you to own nothing. They want you to rent your car, your house, your entire life from them, from a billionaire class that owns everything around you. That's their ideal future, and we can't let them have it.

When is parade?
When is parade?@TheJobIsDone·
Not Wemby's, not the Spurs'. Jokic's surely didn't. Because when the refs don't call fairly, opponents have no choice but to play OKC at their own game. And those clips are circulated as proof that they too play foul. It's a very neat way of gaslighting cause and consequence.
When is parade?@TheJobIsDone

Nobody’s reputation is surviving this OKC phase of basketball unblemished. Not blaming the team but the officiating deficiencies that created (and now can’t handle) the style of basketball that guarantees success in this phase.

@Carson_OKC Simmons was like the only media figure going into the 23-24 season to predict OKC would be the one-seed. He ADORED that team

It’s becoming clear that the best game plan for Wemby is to be extremely physical with him. OKC made him fight for everything last night, even his positioning on the floor. Pestering him and getting under his skin seems to work as well.

@twowayshai Wemby looked at the ref in the eyes, looked Naz in the eyes, gave Naz the peoples’ elbow, then calmly left the game. That’s grown man shit. This iHart play is bitch shit.

Very hard for me to care at all about Castle's high turnovers considering: -OKC pressure -No Fox (or Harper) to relieve it -It's like a football game out there -He leads all scorers -He's playing like an absolute dawg

Sorry, but its not fun to me watching one of the best players in the world not being allowed to play basketball because the refs decide that the opposing team doesn't have to follow any rules when guarding him.
