All these talks about trees and environment, reminds me of an event from Mahabharata.
Krishna and Arjuna destroyed an entire forest (Khandava Vana) to establish the city of Indraprastha (Modern day Delhi)..
The forest burned for days.
However at that time, global warming and other environmental issues did not exist.
We Humans cannot survive without harming nature in some way, we only neednto ensure what is unnecessary and what is required.

Open letter to Indians in America. -- Dear brothers and sisters from Bharat: Like I did 37 years ago, you arrived in America with no money but with a good education and cultural heritage from Bharat. You achieved outstanding success. America was good to us. For that we must remain grateful - gratitude is our Bharatiya way. Yet today, a significant number of Americans, may be not the majority but not too far from it either, believe that Indians "take away" American jobs and our success in America was unfairly earned. You may think the next election will fix this, but your choice would be between people who hate our Bharatiya civilisation and people who hate civilisation itself. That is the "hard right" vs "woke left" battle. You are mere bystanders to that conflict. Meanwhile there is one thing that is true now and will be true in the future: the respect Indians command world-wide will substantially depend on the fortunes of India herself. If India remains poor, the woke left will give us moral lectures with pity and the hard right, different moral lectures with scorn ("hellhole") and we must not confuse either with respect. Respect in today's world, along with prosperity and security, comes from one source: a nation's technological prowess. India produces sufficient brain power to achieve that prowess but alas we exported so much of that talent, particularly to America. As we develop that prowess in India, our civilisational strength will assert itself. As difficult as it is for many of you to contemplate this, please come back home. Bharat Mata needs your talent. "Am I better off overseas or should I have stayed back home?"

We come to the USA with monetary and career goals. This process takes a minimum of 4-5 years, including completing a degree, OPT, securing a stable job, etc.
Then we fight to protect the life we have built. This involves dealing with the H1B visa process, the green card backlog, and other related challenges.
During this time, we often get married and have children.
The next decade is about stabilization and achieving a semblance of a normal life: fighting for a green card, buying a home, and building a network of friends.
Meanwhile, our parents in India keep getting older. Cousins get married at inconvenient times. "Hey, your marriage is in March? My kids will be in school, I can't make it." Grandparents pass away when we have H1B stamping issues and can't travel. Fathers have heart attacks while our companies are laying off employees at a fervent pace.
We miss some or all of these events. India doesn’t care. Life goes on for them. Nephews and nieces grow up not knowing us well. They probably know us as the "uncle and aunt who bring phones" every couple of years.
Our children lack the meaningful extended family we had. No grandparents, uncles, aunts, or cousins. We become their entire world. Your spouse often becomes your only friend in a foreign land. She, too, is as confused as you are. When you argue with her for two days, who can she talk to about it? There's no one to share with.
The friends network you built will soon be beset with jealousy and complaints. Soon, you realize people are not as innocent as they seem. Class and divisions start to appear based on who got a green card first, who bought a big house, who has a Tesla, who became a manager, who has a furnished basement, and so on.
You will be caught in existential questions. Will my son or daughter bring a girl/boyfriend home at age 16?
You will turn to culture and home. You will involve yourself in Regional(Telugu/Kannada/Tamil) Community, Indian associations, temples, volunteering, etc. You will change your political beliefs based on your situation. You either become a liberal, thinking all is fine, or you become a conservative, thinking I should resist all this.
You go to India and find that you don't belong there. All your relatives have changed. You have changed. Uncles and aunts have died. Nephews and nieces are unrecognizable. The streets and city that you grew up in are unrecognizable.
You come back and slip into your known world, keeping on working, never knowing the answer to the question: "Am I better off here or should I have stayed back home?"
The answer to this question remains unknown.

Yesterday, I went to South Bihar and spent most of the time on the highway. At one point, the air conditioning felt like it wasn’t working.
The sun was burning overhead... Outside, it felt like a furnace. So, I wondered whether highways/roads could be covered with shade. And how this heat could be harnessed.
One solution I could think of right away is highway solar canopies. Have generated image using Gemini for reference.
Can generate vast renewable energy without using additional land (avoid using agricultural land), extend road life through shade, power roadside EV charging, etc.
Is it not feasible?

As predicted by Indians, Khalistan will happen first in Canada and nowhere else. Only in the Five Eyes English speaking countries do Sikh separatists get instant asylum and the space and resources to conduct anti-Indian activities, including terrorism. Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK have given a carte blanche to Khalistanis to commit any violence, and their cops and intel agencies will look the other way. The Kanishka Air India bombing, which happened with the passive connivance of the Canadian Government, was the most visible aspect of such support. Most of us with Shatrubodh knew this decades ago - there is a strong undercurrent of hatred for India in the Deep State of the Five Eyes, plus their flunkeys like Germany, because of one simple fact: "How dare these nigg@s bring down the British Empire. They should have collapsed without our governance."
This is precisely why the Five Eyes countries back Pakistan. The Islamic Republic has become a failed state, living off crumbs from the Five Eyes. It is an international beggar whose ruling elites are shameless and obsequious - the exact kind of country the Five Eyes are looking for. That explains why the hellhole jibes are directed not at Pakistan but at India.
The ordinary Americans, British, Canadians, Aussies and Kiwis are great people - excellent neighbours and colleagues with strong family values. It's their ruling elites that are pure evil. By indiscriminately importing millions of jehadi and other incompatible immigrants, the ruling elites of the Five Eyes are screwing their own native populations.

There are four pathways for TVK to come to power:
a) TVK surprises all by sweeping the elections.
b) TVK gets 50–60 seats, refuses to support AIADMK or DMK, and Vijay announces that TVK will form a minority government in the interest of Tamil Nadu, with outside support from the AIADMK–NDA.
c) TVK gets 20–30 seats. The AIADMK–NDA falls a few seats short of a majority. TVK offers outside support, provided the government follows a common minimum programme.
d) TVK gets 20–30 seats. The AIADMK–NDA falls a few seats short of a majority. TVK joins the coalition after a common minimum programme is agreed upon.
TVK would prefer option A or B. Our view is that Scenario B is possible. Scenario A is believed by a few TVK diehards. We’ll have to wait and see.

Dear Indians Residing in America,
For years you and your parents have lived in America, considering yourselves privileged, fortunate, and inhabitants of a land of equality, freedom, and liberty. You took pride in a country that recognized your talent and rewarded it accordingly.
Meanwhile, your parent states, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Kerala, Telangana, carried out campaigns against Hindi speaking North Indians. You remained a mute witness to this prejudice, convinced you would never face it in America.
Indians from Gujarat,Rajasthan,UP, Delhi, Punjab, and Haryana dreamed of building a better future for their generations and planned to settle in the USA for good.
You overlooked one fundamental truth preached in our ancient Sanatan Dharma scriptures to Hindus, "Never stay in a place where you are disrespected or humiliated for your country, or barred from practicing your religion, no matter how highly you are paid.
Trump did not insult the French, British, Spaniards, Mexicans, Portuguese, or Pakistanis. The President of the US targeted ONLY Indians and Chinese.
If you observe the response to Trumps post, this was followed by support from Americans themselves, who openly declared you are unwelcome in their country.
It's time to wake up.
If you believe this resentment will fade, it won't. It will grow, just as regional prejudice and linguistic supremacy have increased in South India against the North Indians.
You may have earned less in India and lived in dirtier cities, but you would never be humiliated for being an Indian here, except by the Congress supporters and certain X handles that gloat over India's developing status, & get monetisation highlighting India's dirt, squalor, corruption, and mismanagement.

A relative of mine who lives in "Nana Nani”, a Sr Citizen community in Coimbatore, where Annamalai visited in 2024 during the last day of campaigning said, in 2024 almost 90% of the residents in that community went to the polling booth and voted. This time hardly 20% of them went to the polling booth and voted.
This is the same for many places where core BJP voters resided.
So it is not just about how many of them transferred their vote/ it is about how many of your voters actually voted!
