Every year in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, a mother and father quietly stand beside a road that bears their son’s name... Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan Road. For the country, it is a tribute. For K. Unnikrishnan and Dhanalakshmi, it is a place to remember the child they raised. Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan was one of the brave commandos of the National Security Guard who laid down his life during the 2008 Mumbai attacks while rescuing civilians at the Taj Hotel. In the middle of that night of terror, he reportedly told his team: “Do not come up, I will handle them.” He fought the terrorists so others could live. For India, he became a symbol of courage, duty, and sacrifice. But for his parents, the pride of a hero comes with the pain of losing a son. On his birth anniversary, they still come to pay their respects... quietly, with folded hands, carrying memories only parents can understand. The nation stands proud of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. And it remains forever indebted to him and to the parents who gave their son in service of the country. Because the freedom and safety we live with today were secured by sacrifices like his. #SandeepUnnikrishnan #Terrorism #TerrorAttack

It's a shame for @AmrutanjanH that a Hindu company trying to exploit a mandir to cover up its profitability. I hope karma doesn't catch him. May Bhagwan #Kapeeleshwarar bless him with sadbuddhi. For me #Amrutanjan brand has lost its Swadeshi charm.

Why is the Media Silent 🔕?

Stalin is on the road, EPS is on the road, Anbumani is on the road, Seeman is on the road. All of them are working hard for every vote. One gent is staying at home and he wants to be the CM. There are a max of 6-7 Sundays left before the election and every weekend is precious for campaigning as more people can be reached on weekends. Incredible how so many people want to vote for someone who does not want to put in the hard work. #TNElections2026

Along with the Deputy CM of Maharashtra, a young pilot Capt. Shambhavi Pathak the Pilot of the plane also lost her life in the Plane crash. She was a brilliant student, a great daughter, a very loving sibling and a very good friend. This is a personal loss as she was my daughter’s friend from KG class. Prayers 🙏💐🪔 #ShambhaviPathak #ajitpawarnews #ajeetpawar #AjitPawar
The untimely passing of Shri Agnivesh Agarwal is deeply shocking and saddening. The depth of your grief is evident in this touching tribute. Praying that you and your family find continued strength and courage. Om Shanti. @AnilAgarwal_Ved
