@TaninSmithKK top 15 win stat is important but being weighed too heavily IMO. Kelsey had an objectively great year 1 post Kenny Payne, even with the first round exit. Missed in year 2 on roster construction but the MBJ injury changed the team entirely. If he can get over that hump he’ll be 👌

Louisville is landing whoever they want in the portal despite Pat Kelsey being a less proven coach than Mark Pope. How/why is this happening? My thoughts:

Do we understand winning a big game on the road against a really good team helps our overall makeup and resume, YES!…” Kelsey made it clear. The noise does not matter. The opportunity does.

Some people will cut PK slack because he made the tournament after a nightmare run by Kenny Payne This is the most uncompetitive Louisville team I’ve watched in my life excluding the KP years. And we had a preseason top 10 roster Kelsey will never be a good fit here
