@Chey_ttv Glad they're taking action, and our experiences may differ which is understandable and valid. I feel at least personally for me when I play killer I expect a survivor to harass me which is a feeling I don't have towards killers when I play survivor. If that makes sense.

@Sundial_Arbiter unfortunately I see this a lot as a survivor too! if it really bothers you there is a way to completely hide end game chat so you don't see it. I've also been getting a lot of harassment report feedback on players now, so it seems they are taking more action

I wonder why players feel this way playing killer?
For anyone looking to play killer but is nervous, it's totally ok to not win every game ☺️ That's how you learn! The best players lose too.

All I’m saying is IF Dead by Daylight’s next chapter is a license, it better be a massive horror icon. I’m fine with pretty much anything coming to DBD at this point, but you don’t celebrate your “Hall of Fame of Horror” making it to 10 years with Bendy, Vader, or Big Daddy.

its disheartening when people who joined into a thing through later installments try to validate the simple fact that it took changes to get them on board (nothing wrong with that by itself) by discrediting long-time fans as being blinded by nostalgia or against change.

Every time I think about Chak Lok I think about how I had a dream where this guy literally reached into my back pocket and ran off with my wallet. Literally has left such a massive impact on how I perceive this character

@FunYunOW @QuestionedTurke It's kinda hard to have good faith and whimsy when every other game I decide to play killer, 2 or more survivors decide to message and say I should kill myself or to get cancer, etc.

@QuestionedTurke I don't understand how they completely refuse to play as/engage with the other half. constantly whining about survivors but never actually play as them?
Playing AS both helps you play AGAINST both, but they treat DBD as this ultra serious sport, instead of a fun cat v mouse game

Has anyone noticed that there's an entire genre of Dead By Daylight content aimed at exploiting struggling killers mains thats extremely similar to red pill/incel content, aimed at using "Us vs Them" to prop themselves up as the only voice of reason, or am i insane

@MrSkits94 Going from Cortana in Halo 5 being set up as the next big bad, to Halo Infinite randomly with Atriox and the banished was so jarring. It left Infinite's story and themes feeling hollow

I absolutely hate how many loose ends Infinite has made. Just because Halo 5 was a failure doesn't mean the characters in it were bad, they were good characters just not utilized properly. Scraping Halo 5s story doesn't mean the fans stopped caring about these characters.

@BaysideBebop Aside from the typical messages from survivors telling me to kill myself. Not having to worry about hook states has been a huge weight off my shoulders to the point losing doesn't really bother me

How am I going to justify locking people out of playing the game?
They are playing the game. I’m not blocking them into a corner and making the server time out. I’m chasing them and downing them, then leaving them there to avoid giving them superpowers.

This whole “slug instead of hooking” thing people are spreading is funny, because how are you going to justify locking people out of playing the game. At least when you’re being hard tunneled you get chased for a minute or two. Nobody can pretend to enjoy being stuck on the floor doing nothing for 4 minutes, be fr.
