Baby Hany’s 5th major cranio operation went very smoothly, & has been his easiest recovery so far He belly danced with the nurses before, demanded cookies & french fries after He got everything he asked for Deeply grateful for all the love & support- he’s coming home today!

samir mansour, despite the limitation of its offering due to the siege, was the biggest bookshop in gaza. i would find myself roaming it for hours, aimlessly too, because being surrounded by books was a reminder i’ll perhaps find myself in one of these words. it’s all gone now.
