@donal888 It is interesting to hear that going to an external foundry is just a contingency plan. So much of the component design is so tightly woven into the process technology that it is very hard to imagine a redesign on an external foundry process without immense delays.

This has been one of the most uncomfortable Intel analyst calls I can remember (and I've been tracking them since 1987)
