This right here is how you recognize Leon’s best character traits, that’s why he’s been my favorite character in fiction since I was a child.
This was always my take away from the games even if these elements have been a bit overshadowed by the one liners and fashion choices.

Folks credit RE7 for revitalizing the franchise, and while there's some truth to that I would argue RE2 Remake is when that comeback really took off because it offered an accessible jumping off point to newcomers with traditional RE series' lore and characters proper
