Yesterday was one of my most memorable days of hunting. I went from battling chronic nausea to an adrenaline rush. Multiple times, yesterday, I tried to get in a tree but that weather and pressure shift was kicking my ass. I was sitting feeling sorry for myself, but my Queen was encouraging me the whole time. Next thing i knew I was stalking a deer from 300 yards away, and got within 40 yards and then notched my tag. So many times in life we battle moments that try to defeat us, but if we stay true to ourselves, we can overcome any obstacle. I’m so thankful for my Cochlear implant and also a wife that pushes me. I suppose my message is do not ever surrender to the challenges we face. Happy new years and make 2026 the best ever. Never Surrender to doubt.

This was a stupid fall for damn sure. I fell, got out of the car and had to cross a a grass strip, of course it was enclosed in a concrete edging and I went down and hit my arm on the concrete edge and bounced my head off the concrete edge on the other side of the sidewalk
