@CabinZero this is the second time that I’m ordering from your website, paying, only to get told a few days later that you checked your system and it’s sold out. Does your website not communicate with your “system”? Should that not just be one system? #disappointing #notrust

Today, training in UX design a group of mostly business analysts who had lots of very pertinent questions on where to draw the line between BA and UX. I'd love to exchange on that if any BA is equally curious. Pls RT!

I would love to talk to any user researchers that have built and scaled a research discipline within a scaling startup/tech company. 🙏 What worked, what didn't and what would you do differently?

"Asking users what they want or what problems to solve is not user research." Exactly this. It's the unattributed Henry Ford quote about faster horses. Sure, ask your users, but don't use that input alone. Understand why. Watch them in action.
Jehad Affoneh@jaffoneh

Not every conversation with a customer or a user is user research. Asking users what they want or what problems to solve vs. having skills to understand that is different. Here are a few phrases & situations that might seem like doing user research but they’re likely not 🧵

@DrRosieW @lucysoaressmith I have that Knomo backpack!! You can try it on Thursday. There is a lot of stuff you can get in, straps are decent too. Sometimes they go lose, but easy to adjust again.

Why is it so hard to find a backpack which has good practical features & comfy straps (e.g. Bellroy) and also looks nice/comes in a good range of colours. They all seem to be either practical and grey/black, or pretty but uncomfortable. Can we not have both?!Any recommendations?
