@BBCr4today @Sanchia7 I was shocked at the failure to mention that the reason to want the child back was to collect the child benefit to feed the drug habit and how casually this decision was taken. Plus the rather silly link by @Marthakearney to listening to birds to cheer us up. Really Martha.

After the Finley Boden case, are issues in children's social care being addressed urgently enough? Josh MacAlister, chair of an independent review of the sector, tells the BBC's @Sanchia7 that reform of the whole system needs to be sped up. #R4Today

@BBCr4today the presumption should be the child is at risk until plenty of evidence is suggesting the alternative. Sending Finlay back to these people was so casually taken it’s outrageous. They are at fault.

@BBCr4today in these cases of such severe child abuse the reasons why they wanted the child back was to collect the child benefit to fund the drug habit. I’m amazed this hasn’t been mentioned. This little boy has been a victim again to the failings of the system

@BBCRadio4 reason why parents wanted him back - child support payments. Why is this never considered when drug taking parents who have shown such disregard from birth suddenly claim improvement. It’s obvious. The child represents money.

@afneil @spectator The today programme has become very boring. In its attempt to fit in arts / obscure issues main political debate is squeezed. And it’s quite boring. I’ve listened to it since I was 21 I’m now 63 and I’m switching over to the times radio / 5 live.

@RealDeniseWelch Working through the press to address issues around Harry’s childhood and now his new family will not serve him well. Attacking through the media was a foolish step. I think she has done much to encourage this approach as it’s her industry and so she has used it. Not a wise move.

@RealDeniseWelch I think she has been wise to stay away. I think she has contributed to her own misfortune. In that interview when she mentioned the issue of colour being raised about her child but wouldn’t say who said it was a well thought out fire cracker. She’s not this defenceless victim.

Why on earth would she want to come here with a press that abuses her EVERY SINGLE DAY???? And she doesn’t get booed. The crowds love her!!! And those who don’t??? If only they knew eh Dan 🤫🤫🤫🤫
Dan Wootton@danwootton

So Meghan bottles it, leaving Prince Harry to attend the Coronation alone in order to avoid boos from angry Brits in the crowd. But how sad to deny the king the chance to see his two grandchildren who will remain in California.

Alison thank you for your apology but I would just like to say , you have no idea what it is really like for those performers in the shows where the songs are popular hits and certain members of the audience feel entitled to join in. Contd

@SPascoalLima @arlenephillips The staff were subjected to dreadful abuse. Swearing screaming just awful anti social behaviour. They should put a record on at home and sing along. All fuelled by booze. Totally unpleasant. But yes if you enjoy that sort of thing great but most of us don’t.

@SPascoalLima @arlenephillips Sandra you I suspect were not there. Maybe for you crowd behaviour like this is ok. It was over bearing to put it politely. They took over in the belief that only their voices should be heard. It’s not a concert. It’s a performance. I like many others want to listen.

@gaytakibitch @Debbie_Black @ChrisHowley6 I don’t think this Debbie black is really a performer. She hasn’t got a clue. I suggest she’s puts on a gig and invites all those who were eventually ejected to come along and bring their mates. Free booze too. No staff required as it’s all just such great fun. Go do it @debbie.

@ChrisHowley6 @Debbie_Black Absolutely correct Chris. This lady Debbie black hasn’t a clue. I grew up in Blackpool. Audiences never behaved likes this. It was hostile abusive and so incredibly upsetting for everyone else there. How anyone thinks this ok is beyond most reasonable people.

@ChrisHowley6 I am a performer and have performed in many shows all over the country and never have witnessed singing at a performance. Is there a group online going against musicals and they get money if they sing ?
