Tesla now has four V4 Supercharging stations open across the U.S. capable of delivering up to 500 kW charging speeds. • Kissimmee, Florida (opened this week) • Gatlinburg, Tennessee (opened last week) • Taylorsville, Utah (opened Jan 2026) • Redwood City, California (opened Sept 2025) As of this week, Tesla's Giga New York factory will now only produce these new V4 cabinets, which means 500kW Tesla Supercharging stations are going to start popping up everywhere pretty soon. Note: 500KW charging is currently only available on the Cybertruck. S3XY vehicles get 250kW charge rates they already experience on existing Superchargers.

@SawyerMerritt Note to all Tesla owners: This only provides a benefit if you own a cybertruck and it only benefits the cybertruck if plugged in prior to ~10% SOC. Otherwise the curve is the same at any V3+ charger (V4 dispensers V3 cabinet)

@RtaxiTracker I wonder what could have caused it without decreasing wait times. There's no way Tesla would artificially increase wait times for no reason while increasing availability. Although maybe allowing for a higher maximum wait time before displaying service is busy?

@BLKMDL3 Had to take my car in for service today. No other company can give you the experience of me just getting into my loaner, swiping down on the navigation bar, pressing 1 button, and the car driving me home. Felt absolutely insane.

These could also just be validation vehicles, but Tesla did say they would launch in Las Vegas in the first half of 2026.

NEWS: Tesla’s Robotaxi service launch in Las Vegas appears to be imminent, as many Model Y vehicles equipped with rear camera washers have been spotted in a parking lot in the suburbs of the city. The cars also have Texas license plates. Only the Model Y robotaxis in Austin have rear camera washers.

Parking lot is filled with Tesla Model Y’s in Henderson, the suburbs of Las Vegas. Could this be getting ready for Robotaxi?

???????????????? When tf did I say there will only be 8. There are currently 2. I am asking if you think there are currently 8. I'm curious if you actually think that given we've seen no evidence of their currently being more than 2 in the fleet for the last couple weeks.

This is definitely not mapping, almost certainly gathering data/mapping. In Vegas you can see these constantly going over the same area over and over and over and over again. Not what you'd do if you were just mapping.

@DirtyTesLa Tesla just made plans for a 400 stall hub in between LA and Vegas that didn't include a single wireless charger. I'm starting to think they're switching to the (imo better) plan of normal chargers with Optimus for plugging in.
