The Bible does discuss 'baptizing the entire household'. Which does not exempt children. More importantly, baptism is not our work ("Baptism now saves you") as salvation is not our work. We bring nothing to baptism. It, like election, is a complete work of Christ. Ergo, to say children cannot be baptized is akin to saying children are in some way cut off from salvation itself until maturity. A wholly unbiblical novelty.
