@juanosquis They were a subsidiary of Infogrames based in Lyon of course. I believe the background noise is the sound of people talking in another room or some effect like that. The ghosts in level 12 use that sound as well I think.

Watched the Michael Jackson film with @mikhailwastaken and here are some of his outstanding quotes during the film. "He looks Mexican, he looks like George Lopez" "Oh he's white now"

Nintendo really sent Metroid Prime 4 out there and just locked the door behind it. Like they kicked that game out like it wasn’t contributing to the home at all and it’s just withering away in the bargain bin with no chance of survival. It didn’t even get any updates, just gone.

@lacienegaGOAT @JRads47 @NibrocRock The PS2 release is very interesting, there's a config file on the disc that has configurations for Xbox and Windows PC but we sadly never got it on those platforms. GameCube was missing entirely which is baffling as I feel like the demographic fits best for that console.

@JRads47 @NibrocRock The PS2 version also had a completely different soundtrack and menu. Plus there were some changes to the intro as well and the intro is 30 FPS. Despite this, a song from the Dreamcast version of Space Race was used in Loons The Fight for Fame, notably in the tutorial.

I bought a game called Loons: The Fight for Fame because I was curious if it was actually a Looney Tunes game, and sure enough, it was. But seriously… why did so many Looney Tunes games from the early 2000s look like this? Were they embarrassed to be Looney Tunes?

@NibrocRock There was some change within Infogrames' marketing team around 2001 that decided to make the covers more in this style, not counting Acme Arsenal as that was WB Games. Here's Sheep, Dog n Wolf's original cover before the change to the final released version as an example.

This one is pretty cool! (UNDISCLOSED LOCATION) 01.01.2024 Courtesy Video All Domain Anomaly Resolution Office The United States Indo-Pacific Command submitted a report of an unidentified anomalous phenomenon to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) consisting of one minute and 39 seconds of video footage from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform in 2024. The reporter did not provide any oral or written description of the observation.

Why did Microsoft purchase Activision and Bethesda? Games like Doom: The Dark Ages and THPS3+4 would've persuaded me to get a Series X but instead they just put all of their titles on every platform possible. This decision cost them a console sale from me and probably others.
