I now believe MLB The Show will remove Franchise Mode within the next 2 years. Their actions at this point can only be seen as deliberate. They are conditioning fans in preparation of that taking place. They did it before with Season Mode and clearly want to do it with Franchise.

Gameplay is the foundation and I’m keen on making it great before I touch franchise. In due time though as the gameplay is not bad if I say so myself!
