Une seconde intervention en mai améliore le résultat à 90-95%, mais les séquelles esthétiques lui causent une DYSMORPHOPHOBIE SÉVÈRE, marquée par une obsession de son apparence. Accablé par la douleur physique et le désespoir psychologique, Mathieu n’a pas supporté la situation. Il a MIS FIN à ses jours le 9 juin 2024, 3 mois après son opération en Turquie.
