Report after living in the UK for 8 months: On rare occasion some days break the pattern, but it's been 13C (55F) every day here, usually with no sun. I'm not sure if seasons are even supposed to exist here or not because fall, winter, and spring have been almost identical

Starting today the minimum wage in the UK has risen to £12.71 ($16.92 USD) I'd really love to do more self-employment (Japanese tutoring, translating, etc.), but idk how I can keep up with that kind of pay 😅 There isn't a whole lot of incentive to do skilled labor here either
