Some feel ahead of their time, others just weird in the best way. Makes you realize how many versions exist before the ones we actually get.

@mayrokratt @NintyPrime Well production of Switch 2s have been slashed by roughly half due to abysmal sales after the initial fancy rush to buy them. Increasing hardware prices further would be fatal to the system. I could totally see them jacking up prices of accessories and games to compensate tho.

Is the 3rd, or 4th increase? It really sucks watching 5 year old platforms constantly going up in price due to the macroeconomics of the world. I wouldn’t be surprised if PS6 isn’t out for a long while. It’s a miracle Switch 2 somehow launched successfully into the market the way it is right now. Going to be even harder for a premium console launch.

@saiya_ran Thats what people said about Switch 2 at launch. Less than a year later Sams Club had the Mario Kart World bundle on clearance for $375. Ram may not get as cheap as it was before but prices this high arent sustainable long term.

Nintendo is going to also raise the price of the Switch 2. PlayStation and Sony didn’t do this for the hell of it. I’ll say it again: if there is a piece of tech you want and you can afford it, buy it now This is the cheapest you’ll see electronics for a while
