I've spent decades in Canada, back in the 70s, 80s, and 90s - then spent two decades in the US. No one can truthfully tell me that Canada is better today than it was 20 (or even 10) years ago. Nobody. And anyone who does is a bald-faced liar. The US is not our enemy. It is our largest and single most important trading partner. Ignoring that fact, or wishing it were not the case, are recipes for ever-worsening disaster. There is zero possibility that Canadian prosperity will improve for as long as our US ties continue being weakened (by our government, who is supposed to be doing right by Canada, no less). Moronically entrenched liberal boomer voters in Toronto, Montreal, and to a less significant extent Atlantic Canada, cannot die off quickly enough at this point - because I'm afraid their mental deficiency is incurable.

How has Canadians' life expectancy increased in relation to other developed countries ? "The variety of goods and services on offer are on a par with our peers in the G7." Doesn't mean these "goods and services" are affordable. Most people can't afford anything - being offered means nothing. "Clean water, clean air and health care are provided." Clean water coming out of your faucet is not the hallmark of success. It's a basic essential that no government gets to take credit for. Clean air ? You need to visit Southern Ontario in summer. Geography matters more than government on this. "Health care are provided" ... I just love how you leave out any mention of efficiency, effectiveness, and quality. Even a drug dealer provides a product - sure doesn't mean it's a good one. "Crime is decreasing statistically." This one takes the cake. As a government, you don't get to totally screw up (allowing crime to skyrocket), and then take credit for a meaningless "statistical" drop from the peak you are directly responsible for. Talk to me about crime stats today, compared to where they were before the treasonous liberal governments of the last decade allowed crime to flourish. You are delusional. Canada is not better off today than before liberals came along in 2015. Look at any charts that track any measure of prosperity and quality of life over the past quarter century, and you will see clearly the insurmountable damage to our country that a decade of liberal mismanagement has resulted in.
